SUPPORT

Something broke?

A tool that does not do what its page says, a panel that will not show up, a crash with your file — this is where it gets fixed.

BEFORE YOU REPORT

Four things worth a minute.

Most reports resolve themselves here.

RESTARTRestart Blender onceAfter replacing an existing install, the old module stays loaded until Blender restarts.
CLASSIC ADD-ONInstalled as an Add-on, not an ExtensionEdit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install… — the Extensions installer will not enable these.
BLENDER RANGEInside the range the page namesEach add-on states the Blender versions it is checked against. Outside that range, anything can happen.
THE PANELSidebar, N keyEvery tool lives in the 3D viewport sidebar under its own tab — the tab name is on the add-on’s page.
BUG REPORTS

Four lines save a round trip.

Most reports cost one extra email because something obvious is missing. If you have these four to hand, the first reply can usually be an answer instead of a question.

  1. 01

    Which add-on, and which version.

  2. 02

Your Blender version and operating system.

  3. 03

What you did, and what happened instead of what you expected.

  4. 04

The .blend file, if the shape of the scene matters.

WHERE TO SEND IT

By email, with the file attached.

Reports go to the address below. Attach the .blend if the scene shape matters — a stripped-down copy is fine.

EMAIL

The fastest route. Bug reports, licence questions, anything that comes with an attachment.

COMING SOON
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Reproduced, fixed, shipped.

  1. 01

The report is reproduced with your file, on the Blender version you named.

  2. 02

A confirmed bug is fixed in the source and checked against the whole range the page states.

  3. 03

The fix ships with the next version; the version number on the add-on’s page moves when it does.
